Knight Cancer Research Building Wins DJC TopProjects Award

On May 16 the Oregon Health & Science University Knight Cancer Research Building was honored as the top Health Care Project of the Year by the Daily Journal of Commerce’s 2019 TopProjects Awards program.

Completed in fall of 2018, the $152 million building was designed by SRG in collaboration with general contractor McCarthy/Andersen Construction (a Joint Venture) using integrated project delivery. The seven-story, 320,000 sf building houses 650 researchers and staff and is newly certified LEED Platinum, standing as a beacon of sustainability inspired by the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute’s mission to advance team science to cure cancer.
