WSU North Puget Sound Named Champion of Sustainability

December 19, 2016

The Seattle office of McKinstry has named the project team behind the upcoming WSU Everett University Center, its education partners and the design-build team of Hoffman Construction Company, KPFF Consulting Engineers - Seattle, OAC Services, Inc. and SRG Partnership, Inc. – the week 15 Seahawks Champions of Sustainability for incorporating energy and water conservation measures into the upcoming 95,000-square-foot building.

"With many of our degree programs focused on engineering and STEM, it was important to WSU and our education partners that the building reflect advanced building standards. We are honored to be recognized as a Champion of Sustainability and expect the new facility to serve as a living laboratory for engineering instruction. We thank the many project partners involved for their collaborative efforts."

Paul Pitre, Chancellor of WSU North Puget Sound at Everett
