The design of The Knight Cancer Research Building intends to maximize collaboration and efficiency for scientists. SRG responded to their needs by utilizing materials that would create a feeling of transparency that draws researchers together.

This project required a high level of detail and coordination, and the whole team was excited to work together and innovate beyond what a lab typically is.

"This building connects everyone — everybody has some sort of connection with cancer, so being able to be a part of something that’s so much bigger than something we do on a day-to-day-basis building privately — this is much, much bigger."
