We recently promoted four staff members to leadership positions within the firm. Each of these people brings essential skills to SRG. Their collective growth as leaders and team members has elevated our work. Their work exemplifies SRG's commitment to providing our communities with design excellence.

Bjorn Clouten, AIA

With 20 years of experience, Bjorn's strength and leadership in project management comes from a wide range of experience in many project types, including higher education and civic projects. Bjorn has managed two of SRG's recent projects—the State Capitol renovation and currently the new Multnomah County Courthouse. Both projects were organized in an Integrated Project Delivery process, that included co-location with the client, the contractor and the consultant team. As SRG's BIM manager, his expertise in architectural delivery systems and collaboration technology has been key to SRG becoming an industry leader in project design and delivery.

Keasa Jones, AIA

Keasa graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in Environmental Design and has a Masters in Architecture from the University of Washington. She is currently the designer for the City of Seattle’s North Precinct Police Station, a project that aims to transform the relationship between the Police and the community by making the station an open and inviting community asset. Keasa’s recent work includes projects for the University of Washington, Washington State University, Everett Community College, Grays Harbor College and Salt Lake Community College.

Aaron Pleskac, AIA

Since SRG founded our Seattle office in 2002, Aaron has served as a project manager and project architect on a range of complex projects, including work for the University of Washington, Seattle University, City of Bellevue and Grays Harbor College. His ability to work in all aspects of a project, from consulting with clients and public agencies to coordinating with contractors in the field, makes him particularly adept at multifaceted projects with large teams and complex stakeholder processes. Aaron is currently Project Manager for the expansion of iconic Hayward Field at the University of Oregon.

Steve Simpson, AIA

A University of Oregon graduate, Steve has been designing award-winning projects for more than 27 years. Steve’s work includes extensive experience in higher education, libraries, museums and cultural projects. He has contributed to the firm as a mentor and teacher to aspiring young architects in the office, as well as at the University of Oregon as an adjunct professor in the School of Architecture and Allied Arts. Steve is currently the primary designer on the new Multnomah County Courthouse, located on the waterfront in Portland. Previous to that project he was the designer on the renovation of the State Capitol building in Salem.
