SRG Announces New Hires and Promotions

New Hires

Eric Ridenour has joined SRG as a Senior Associate and Campus Planner. A registered architect with a Master of Architecture from the University of Oregon, Eric has spent much of his career working with universities and colleges on long-range planning and campus design projects. His recent experience includes successful planning projects for Stanford University and a long-range development plan for Oregon State University’s new Cascades campus in Bend. He is currently working on a facilities master plan for all of Portland Community College’s campuses.

Kevin Chavez has been hired as full-time architectural staff following a 2-year internship at SRG and graduation from Portland State University with a Master of Architecture. A creative design talent, Kevin brings energy and enthusiasm to his current work on preliminary design ideas for a high-rise building at 4th & Montgomery, a joint venture between Portland State University, Oregon Health & Science University, Portland Community College and the City of Portland.

Jordan Iseler has been hired as SRG’s new Marketing Manager. A graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a minor in Business, Jordan most recently served as Interim Director for the American Institute of Architects in Columbus, Ohio. As a key member of SRG’s Business Development and Marketing team, Jordan will be responsible for all aspects of project pursuits, research and strategy.

Lina Lim has been hired as the new Front Desk Receptionist in SRG’s Portland office. Lina is a graduate of the University of Oregon and has been working in the healthcare sector for the past five years. In addition to being the first point of contact in the office, Lina will support the accounting team.

Lucy Downs has been hired as SRG’s new Accounting and Payroll Coordinator. She will be handling payroll and human resources duties while supporting the firm’s accounting functions. With 23 years of experience and an education in Business/Accounting and Healthcare Administration, she is adept at leveraging her problem-solving expertise and eye for detail within a big-picture perspective.

Promotions

Sam Stadler has been promoted to Senior Associate. A graduate of the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Architecture, Sam has been at SRG 12 years with a focus on higher education and healthcare. He just completed project management of the Karl Miller Center at Portland State University, which includes the new School of Business. Sam is currently serving as Project Manager for the new 4th & Montgomery project in downtown Portland, a joint venture between Portland State University, Oregon Health & Science University, Portland Community College and the City of Portland.

Nicolai Kruger has been promoted to Associate at SRG. With 13 years of architectural experience, Nicolai joined SRG in 2016 and has been integral to work on the Knight Cancer Research Building (KCRB), a new $160 million project in Portland’s South Waterfront using an Integrated Project Delivery approach. Prior to joining SRG, she spent nine years based in Tokyo, Japan, working on large-scale commercial projects throughout Asia. Nicolai earned her Master of Architecture at the University of Oregon.
