A huge congratulations to the entire Oregon Zoo Elephant Lands team for being honored as the DJC Oregon 2016 Project of the Year!

This was an awesome project to be a part of as designers had the unique opportunity to improve animal welfare and make a positive impact on conservation, sustainability, and education. (not to mention, working directly with such incredible animals!)

The Oregon Zoo’s Elephant Lands earned top scores from the judges in large part for the project’s innovative engineering, design and construction that resulted in a facility being heralded as the next generation in creating healthier, more natural environments for elephants in captivity.
